ST. BARK’S UNFORGETTABLE WEEKEND BAZAAR WITH PAWS AND FRIENDS

On 4 and 5 May 2019, St. Bark held a booth in the weekend bazaar at Central Harbourfront Event Space.

Our first customers at the bazaar bought an embroidered bandana in our display that, miraculously, had the pawrents’ exact last name on it! While other people who ordered custom embroidery on the stop had to wait a week for us to do the embroidery, their adorable dog got to immediately bounce away with a bandana proudly embroidered their family name, Parker. It was a beautiful coincidence and a wonderful way to jumpstart our time at the weekend bazaar.

St. Bark’s Chief Happiness Officer Snoopy showed up on the first day of the bazaar, sporting a snazzy custom-embroidered bandana with his name embroidered on it. Many furry friends came to visit him, and even human fans vied for pawshakes with him.

Despite the pouring rain and howling wind, the St. Bark team persevered steadfastly and put up waterproof fabric on the sides of the booth where the rain pelted the hardest. Many of us got drenched but were able to to put St. Bark’s product claims to the test- as our St. Bark team t-shirts were made out of Specortex, the same fabric material used to make our dog hats and bandanas, we can now proudly attest that our fabric is indeed quick-dry, anti-bacterial and anti-odor. Only the best for both our team and customers!

The heavy downpour led to lulls at times. Whenever it wasn’t raining heavily, the St. Bark booth was a party spot for dogs and parents to mingle and take photos. In the light drizzle, our pink mini Fiat car and lush green background with a neon St. Bark sign created a beautiful backdrop for furry friends and their parents to have a go at being car models, or to simply share a lovely moment together for cameras to capture.

The paw-ty didn’t stop there! On the second day, one of our highlights was the birthday party for a poodle. The grand attraction featured a massive two-tier beef birthday cake, with more delicious beef sprinkles on top. Many furry friends and paw-rents attended and it was a blast.

Last but not least, we held a prize giving ceremony for a winner in our online hat-naming contest, in which an adorable poodle won a bag ample with healthy treats, our popular reversible Pawstel Blue Sky hat and our eco-friendly, quick-dry bandana.
